Predicting Your Adult Height
The Gray Method focuses on your genetic potential. It uses less information, but it is also less accurate. The formula says to average your mother and father's heights and add five inches if you are a boy or subtract five inches if you are a girl.
The Gray Method
The KGH method of height prediction acknowledges the role that nutrition plays in your final height. Since there is no simple way of measuring how well you have been eating, the formula uses your current age, height, and weight to make an estimate. It can be off because it does not factor in how far you have currently developed, if you are a teenager.
