Betrayal of David and Jesus

David Jesus
As David was being betrayed he crossed the Brook Kidron

He went up by the Mt of Olives

He went up to the Mt of Olives

He wept

Jesus was in deep agony

Those with him also wept

His followers also were overcome with grief

At this point it was revealed that his friend, Ahithophel, gave counsel to those who sought his life
(II Samuel 15:12)

David appears to lose his kingdom to his enemy Jesus appears to lose His kingdom to His enemy
Ahithophel killed himself by hanging
