Question:I just had sex with my boyfriend and I'm having my period, but afterwards it seemed like I bled a lot. Does this mean that he popped my cherry or is it standard?
What it means is that you have sinned and placed your soul in jeopardy. By your own statement you had sex outside of marriage, which is called fornication or sometimes translated as "sexually immoral." "But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death" (Revelation 21:8). Sadly this doesn't bother you.
What it means is that you exposed yourself to the possibility of pregnancy. The odds are remote, but they are not zero. If a child is conceived, he will be raised by a mother who doesn't have a sense of morality -- assuming you don't turn your life around. Having sex during your period is no guarantee that a child won't be conceived.
What it means is that you exposed yourself to the possibility of getting a sexually transmitted disease. Because more fluid is present in the form of blood the possibility of transmitting a disease is higher.
All of this for just a few moments of pleasure.
If you are saying that this was your first time having sex and that your boyfriend broke your hymen during your illicit sexual escapade, then yes there will be blood from the broken hymen as well as from your regular period.
As Jesus stated, "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3).
