Question

Answer:

Hi. I am worried that my girlfriend will get pregnant. We regret that we did mutual masturbation and somehow we ended up with her panties off and I ejaculated on her napkin. I am not sure that my sperm was completely absorbed by the napkin or leaked down to her panties. Two minutes later she wore the panties. Based on the situation, what is the chance of her being pregnant? She missed her period, but she has irregular menstruation. I guess she might be stress and feeling guilty about it, causing her menstruation to be late. Please give me the best answer. Thank you.

While the odds are not zero, they are very low. Your sperm would have to enter her vagina and travel up to the other end. Since semen was on the surface of the sanitary napkin, which is placed near the opening of the vagina, then it is likely that some sperm entered her. However, the trip through the vagina would have killed off most of them. In addition, since she was wearing a sanitary napkin, I would assume that she was near her monthly period at the time. But for fertilization to take place, your sperm must be inside her on the day she ovulates or up to six days beforehand. A woman ovulates 14 days before her next period. So again, the likelihood is that she is not pregnant by you.

However, we need to have a long talk. You asked for my best answer and I plan to give it to you. "For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified" (I Thessalonians 4:3-6). What the two of you did was a sin. You committed fornication; that is, you had sex before marriage. Yes, you didn't have sexual intercourse, but you did everything but put your penis into her vagina.

Many people foolishly think that so long as pregnancy is avoided, then nothing bad was done. But even claiming that actual intercourse was avoided, it doesn't mean that other sins weren't committed. For example, there is the problem of lust. "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). Is that not what you did with your girlfriend? Given how far you went this time, what will stop you two from going father another time?

You see, you are only worried about whether a child was conceived. I'm looking at two people who because of their sexual desires for each other are willing to commit their souls to hell. "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God" (I Corinthians 6:9-10). A child will cause you at most 18 or 20 years of hardship, Hell lasts an eternity. You need to make this right with God and with each other.

One of my concerns is that you don't really regret what you two did. Oh, you regret that you might have gotten her pregnant, but I don't see true godly sorrow for your actions in your note. "For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter" (II Corinthians 7:10-11). The reason I'm pointing this out is look at how you are avoiding taking responsibility for your sin: "somehow we ended up with her panties off." Do you see how you are making this into an accident? Panties don't "somehow" come off. And, you didn't even address how your own clothes came off. Since you ejaculated on her clothing and not in your own, we know that you weren't properly clothed either.

You see, until you are willing to confess you faults to God (I John 1:8-10) you leave the door open to repeating your sins. The two of you were engaged in sexual foreplay. Why did you go so far? Why did you remove your clothing? Why were you touch each other's private areas? Until you can own up to what you did and why you did it, you won't face your weaknesses and try to avoid them.

I hope you will think about these things and actually take steps to correct your life. If I can be of further service, please contact me.

I thank you for your ministry to me. We indeed made a mistake and we have prayed that we commit ourselves not to do such a thing anymore. We even commited that we will avoid situations which leave us alone in a room which might lead to lust carrying us into eternal destruction. I thank you for your admonishment. I appreciate your accountability. I thank God especially for His strong help through the Holy Spirit that awakened me from this thing, so that we will not get carried away with this action. I hope your ministry can be a blessing for others. Gob bless you.
